Bio
Hand surgeon Dina Rahhal, M.D., is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Rahhal graduated with honors from Princeton University with a bachelor of arts degree in molecular biology. She then went on to complete medical school at American University of Beirut in Beirut, Lebanon; and a general surgery residency at Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland. She is fellowship-trained in hand surgery from the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery – University of Louisville in Kentucky, where she spent three years.
Prior to joining Orthopedic Medicine Specialists, Rahhal was an assistant professor – hand surgery in the department of orthopedic surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She is an active lecturer and has published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Surgery and Microsurgery.
Rahhal is a candidate member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Spanish.
