Bio
Dr. Vandiver is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He attended Baylor University for his undergraduate degree and earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, Mich., before completing his general surgery internship at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Mich. Dr. Vandiver gained his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center – Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in The Bronx, N.Y., and his fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at Hutzel Hospital – The Detroit Medical Center.
Prior to founding Kaufman Orthopedics, Dr. Vandiver was a partner in Texas Orthopaedic Associates. He has served as Chief of Surgery for Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Kaufman and brings more than 15 years of in-depth surgical and teaching experience to Kaufman Orthopedics.
Dr. Vandiver is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
