Dr. Taylor was born in Shreveport, Louisiana. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern State University where she received a B.A. in Biology. She received her M.D. from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed her residency In Obstetrics and Gynecology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Taylor joined Texas Health Women's Care (formerly The Woman's Group) in July 2006 and is a Diplomate with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She is one of six siblings. She is married to her college sweetheart, Carl, and they have two adorable children, Camron and Jaden. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and living vicariously through her young children.
