Blair Robbins began her career as a registered nurse in 2012. She has worked in the areas of trauma, critical care, emergency medicine, acute care surgery and medical-surgical medicine ever since. Blair's greatest passion lies in trauma/critical care medicine that extends beyond just providing care to encompass education and research that improve the care continuum for critically ill patients. She became certified as a family nurse practitioner in 2016 and as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner (AGACNP) in 2020.

Blair earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. She later completed her post-master's certification in AGACNP at Maryville University in St. Louis, Mo. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Emergency Nurses Association and Society of Trauma Nurses.
