Dr. Emmet was born and raised in Texas. She graduated cum laude from the University of North Texas with Bachelor of Science in Biology degree. Dr. Emmet then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Emmet completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and has been in private practice in the mid-cities area since 2005. Dr. Emmet joined Texas Health Women's Care (formerly The Woman's Group) in January of 2009 and is a Diplomate with the American Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
When not working, Dr. Emmet enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.
