Bio

Dr. Kathleen Sekpe began her medical career as a physician and teacher in 2017, serving at Bergan Mercy Hospital and as a contributing faculty member of Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. Most recently, she served for two years as Vice Chair of the Women’s Department at Bergan Mercy, prior to setting down roots in North Texas in 2025. Dr. Sekpe has been a mentor to students and physicians in OB-GYN, labor and delivery, and the operating room. She is a board-certified OB-GYN with special interests in the areas of normal and high-risk pregnancy care, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgeries, and menopause management.

Dr. Sekpe earned her medical degree and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Creighton University School of Medicine. She has served on numerous committees as a champion of women’s health. Dr. Sekpe is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Away from the office, she likes to spend time with her family, grow in her faith, explore the outdoors and experience different cultures. She speaks fluent Spanish.
