Dr. Hollingsworth completed his internship and residency training and served as chief resident at UTMB Galveston. He also completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, where he served as assistant and then associate professor of medicine. \n \nDr. Hollingsworth has been awarded multiple R-01 grants to study various aspects of pulmonary immunity and inflammation from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
