John Wesley Norman, PA-C Physician Assistant-Surgicalin Dallas, TX

John Norman knew he wanted to become a physician assistant after experiencing a sports injury playing baseball in high school and being cared for by an orthopedic PA. He was determined to pay his experience forward, so he went on to earn his allied health degree with honors from Texas A&M University in College Station. John also earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. He became certified as a physician assistant in 2021.

John places a priority on getting patients safely back to their pre-injury performance levels and routines. His areas of clinical focus include treatments for spinal stenosis, disc herniations, pars fractures and degenerative disc disease. He uses ultrasound-guided and intra articular joint injection therapies, along with other advanced techniques to promote healing and rehabilitation. He also has provided surgical assistance for laminectomy, ACDF, PSF, spinal fusion and other orthopedic procedures.

John is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. When not with his patients, he enjoys hiking, hunting, skiing and spending time with family.
