Bio
Dr. Goran Tesic is a native of Norway, but he earned his medical degree with honors from Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest, Hungary. He is a board-certified general surgeon with broad exposure to endovascular and open vascular surgical procedures primarily in the areas of trauma and critical care. He holds the additional qualification of Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation to offer a deep understanding of diagnostic ultrasound interpretations. 
Dr. Tesic completed his general surgery residency through the Teaching Hospital of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in New York City. He completed his fellowship training in vascular surgery at Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Dr. Tesic took an interest in surgery while watching his mother practice medicine during wartime in Bosnia. His areas of special interest and focus include advanced and minimally invasive vascular surgeries, including endarterectomy and arterial bypass; endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR) and vascular trauma surgery. 
Dr. Tesic’s previous work experience includes performing an array of endovascular and open surgeries within a vascular center in Mesquite. He is a member of the Society of Vascular Surgery. Dr. Tesic is fluent in Bosnian, Norwegian, Spanish, Italian, Hungarian. He also has intermediate fluency in German.
