Bio
Licensed clinical social worker Brandi Washington has spent her career helping individuals prioritize their mental health and well-being by creating safe spaces for them to build lives that feel more grounded and aligned. Since 2017, she has worked across hospital and healthcare settings in the state of Texas to support adult patients, families, and healthcare professionals through stress, grief, transition, trauma and burnout.
Brandi is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and uses a variety of therapy modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to promote personal growth, with special focus on supporting professionals who are navigating mental health concerns and life transitions.
Brandi earned her bachelor's degree in social work from Angelo State University and her master's degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin, where she specialized in healthcare social work and integrated behavioral health. She believes in helping people work with their brains and nervous systems instead of against them to navigate life's challenges.
