Bio
Elizabeth Chandy D.O., is a board-certified internal medicine hospitalist. Since 2005, she has served on the medical staff of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford, where she is also medical director of cardiac rehabilitation. She is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and at the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU.
Dr. Chandy grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in science, a double major in biology and anthropology, and minors in international studies and women’s studies. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and complete an internal medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

She also mentors residents in scholarly activity and submission of abstracts, and attends conferences alongside residents. She is a well-being ambassador for the residency program.
Dr. Chandy spends her free time with her husband and children, and she volunteers monthly at Grace Community Clinic in Grapevine.
