Bio
Dr. Allison Liddell was born in Dallas, Texas. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated cum laude with a degree in Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist throughout medical school. Dr. Liddell earned her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Her internship and residency were completed at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lidell completed her medical training at Washington University School of Medicine, also in St. Louis, as a fellow in infectious diseases in clinical and research settings.
Dr. Liddell currently serves as Chief of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Texas Health Dallas where she is also dedicated to teaching and is a faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program and serves as Chair of the Committee to Evaluate Clinical Competency. Dr. Liddell is the Medical Director of Infection Control at Texas Health Dallas, as well as, Texas Institute for Surgery in Dallas. She is Chair of the Pharmacy &Therapeutics Committee and a Member of the Practitioner Performance Evaluation Committee at Texas Health Dallas.
Dr. Liddell has been named as D Magazines Best Doctors in infectious diseases since 2004.
