Katia Veronica Brown, MD Infectious Disease, Internal Medicinein Dallas, TX

Dr. Katia Brown is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in infectious diseases. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Catolica Santiago de Guayaquil then went on to complete her internal medicine internship and residency at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, GA. She is fellowship-trained in infectious diseases from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Prior to joining InfectiousCare, Dr. Brown was in private practice in South Texas. She then served as an assistant professor for the Division of Infectious Diseases at UT Southwestern where she provided primary care services and education to patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). She is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America/HIV Medicine Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Brown is fluent in Spanish.
