Bio
Family nurse practitioner Amanda Mooney has been caring for North Texans since 2007. Previously, she served the healthcare needs of the Denton community while working as a nurse practitioner in a family medicine clinic. Amanda graduated with honors from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. After working as a registered nurse for six years in the Cardiovascular Services Department at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano, she went back to TWU to earn her master’s degree in nursing.
Amanda is qualified to provide a broad range of healthcare services in conjunction with Dr. Lee. Her experience includes work in the areas of medical weight loss management, preventive medicine, diagnostic assessment, and acute and chronic illness care.
