Neurology Sub-specialty Education Coordinator
Dr. Zakraus Mahdavi is assistant professor at the TCU and UNTHSC School of Medicine and clinical assistant professor of neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He serves as the neurology sub-specialty education coordinator for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.
Dr. Mahdavi graduated with a degree in computer science and neurobiology from The University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston. Dr. Mahdavi completed his residency and chief residency training in neurology and fellowship in neurocritical care at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Mahdavi is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in neurology, by the American Society of Neuroimaging in neurosonology and by the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties in neurocritical care. Dr. Mahdavi is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Texas Medical Association.
