Bio
Certified physician assistant Heather Wellman has been dedicated to delivering quality orthopedic and emergency care to North Texans for more than two decades. She began her career in orthopedics in 2005, serving the Denton community with therapeutic procedures and comprehensive wound and fracture care. As a former collegiate soccer player, Heather understands the importance of mobility for quality of life. She takes a collaborative approach to joint care with the goal of promoting pain-free movement and optimal healing.
Heather graduated Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of North Texas in Denton. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies while attending The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
