Bio

Dr. Jared Cloud is a board-certified family physician with advanced fellowship training in sports medicine. He is dedicated to promoting better movement and overall health through specialty upper and lower extremity care, comprehensive sports-related injury and non-operative fracture care, concussion management, ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopic-guided injection therapies, and osteopathic manipulative therapies. Dr. Cloud has served as a team physician for numerous collegiate and high school athletic teams, including Texas Christian University and Texas Wesleyan University, as well as for community-sponsored sporting events. He has also provided physician coverage for Team USA Women's Lacrosse and WTA Women's Tennis.

Dr. Cloud earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He completed his family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship through John Peter Smith Health Systems, also in Fort Worth. Dr. Cloud served as chief fellow during his final year in training. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.

I was so impressed with this clinic, medical staff and especially Dr Cloud. Dr. cloud was patient with me. He explained everything along the way, he questioned me along the way about whether I understood and had additional questions. I think he is one of the best doctors I have ever seen. And who ever taught him "bedside manners" for a physician should be commended and that education should be replicated across all physicians. But I do believe it's probably Dr. cloud's own nature that makes him lack, relatable, and trusted I valued him so much that I have suggested to my daughter that she might see him as well for her issues. Thank you very much.

I appreciate Dr. Cloud seeing me on short notice. But I didn't know if my issue was hip or knee related and since he had me down as hip he said he could only assess on joint per visit. He did X-ray both on my request but he did not give any info on the knee. And he only watched me walk four steps so I'm not sure how he could discern if my main problem was my knee or hip. I would have just liked more info about the causation of hip issue to knee pain.
