Bio
Dr. Ahmed Siddiqi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained adult reconstruction specialist with expertise in advanced hip and knee replacement surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive, muscle-sparing techniques and robotic-assisted joint replacement, with a clinical focus on complex primary arthroplasty, revision surgery, periprosthetic fracture care, and prosthetic joint infection management. His surgical philosophy centers on precision, reproducibility, and individualized patient care designed to optimize recovery, function, and long-term outcomes.
Prior to joining the Texas Center for Joint Replacement in 2026, Dr. Siddiqi served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and served as a partner at an orthopedic practice in New Jersey, where he played a key role in expanding and scaling robotic joint replacement programs across multiple hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Dr. Siddiqi is experienced in robotic-assisted total hip and total knee arthroplasty and holds certifications in multiple robotic surgical platforms. He is recognized for his expertise in anterior approach total hip replacement and modern muscle-sparing knee replacement techniques aimed at reducing postoperative pain, accelerating recovery, and improving functional outcomes.
He earned his medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Foundation - James A. Dickson Adult Reconstructive Fellowship, where he received advanced subspecialty training in adult reconstruction and complex joint replacement surgery. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Siddiqi earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pa.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Siddiqi maintains an active academic and research presence with numerous peer-reviewed publications, invited presentations, and editorial leadership roles focused on arthroplasty innovation, robotic surgery, perioperative optimization, and healthcare value. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Bone and Soft Tissue Surgery and as an associate editor and reviewer for multiple orthopedic publications, including the Journal of Arthroplasty.
Dr. Siddiqi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American College of Surgeons. He is also an active member of the Anterior Hip Foundation.
