Omar Anwar Haq, MD Transplant Hepatology, Gastroenterologyin Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Omar Haq is board-certified in transplant hepatology, gastroenterology and internal medicine. He practices in all aspects of general gastroenterology and hepatology with a focus on managing patients with liver disease, including hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver tumors. As a transplant hepatologist, Dr. Haq is also involved in evaluating and managing patients who require liver transplantation. He received his fellowship training in gastroenterology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He completed his fellowship training in transplant hepatology through Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Haq believes in providing quality care in a multidisciplinary setting and establishing long-term relationships with his patients based on a sense of mutual respect and compassion. He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology.
