Dr. Debdeep Banerjee is a fellowship trained gastroenterologist and hepatologist with experience caring for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. His areas of clinical interest include managing liver disease, digestive disorders, and preventive GI health. Dr. Banerjee uses minimally invasive endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other techniques to promote improved health. After multiple years serving as a gastroenterology clinical physician at the University of Pennsylvania in[GU1.1] the Philadelphia area, he brought his knowledge and skill to North Texas in 2026.

Dr. Banerjee graduated with his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock. He completed his internal medicine residency alongside a chief residency year at[GU2.1] the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. He finished a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Dr. Banerjee is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.
