Bio
Kristen New began her nursing career in 2009 working in a busy Emergency Department in the Fort Worth area. She is skilled in a variety of other disciplines as well and has been caring for gastroenterology and hepatology patients since early in 2022. Kristen is board-certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. Her clinical interests include the care of acute and chronic digestive disorders and dysfunction and providing quality diagnostic testing and assessment. She places a priority on delivering competent and personalized care to adult patients.
Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in nursing Summa Cum Laude from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. She earned her master’s degree in nursing/AGACNP while attending The University of Texas at Arlington. Kristen is a member of the American Nurses Association and North Texas Nurse Practitioners.
