Bio

Dr. Allen Hornell grew up in Cleburne and has served Texas communities in leadership roles as a board-certified family medicine physician since 1998. Dr. Hornell has worked as the medical director for a large primary care clinic in Tyler and was the founding physician of Baylor Family Medicine at Weatherford. He also served as a physician partner in a large Fort Worth clinic. Dr. Hornell has delivered comprehensive care to patients of all ages throughout his career.

Dr. Hornell received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University before earning his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Center Tyler. Dr. Hornell is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. He has been named by his peers as one of Fort Worth’s “Top Doctors” by The City’s Magazine. When not with his patients, he enjoys family time with his wife and their four daughters as well as fishing, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time on his family ranch.
