I appreciated that the steroid shot was not the go-to solution. She showed me some stretching exercises that would help.Sep 2025Although the stretching exercises do not immediately alleviate the pain, they do help reduce the level of discomfort, and I have experienced less pain. Dr. Gutierrez did say that if the pain does not go away, she would prescribe physical therapy. Her assistant was as well. Dr. Gutierrez asked me a lot of questions and was very concerned about my condition. She went over the plan for me and asked if I had been taking my blood pressure and I told her no because I was in excruciating pain and didn't want to stress over it. I have been taking it today and this morning I sent her the results. It was high a little while ago and she responded immediately and told me to drink plenty water and no coffee while on this particular medicine.
