This applies to ALL Doctors in your network, not just mine. My Provider recommends Statins to lower cholesterol. Statins have recently been found to calcify arteries making stints more difficult. There are non-statin alternatives like Bergamot that lower cholesterol with no side effects proven in clinical trials by the NIH. My Cardiologist agrees because it works for me and others.
