Certified family nurse practitioner Mitsi Pimentel began her medical career in 1997. Prior to joining Texas Health Physicians Group, she worked in a pediatric and adolescent health care practice in the Waxahachie area. Her areas of special interest include women's health and medical surgical support.
Mitsi began her clinical education at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas. She went on to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. Mitsi is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

I've been a patient at Texas Health Family Care for 27 years, and I can honestly say they are the finest medical practice I've ever experienced. I'm 65 years old, and throughout my life I've been to many doctors' offices, but none compare to the level of care this team provides. Yesterday I had my annual physical, and once again they exceeded every expectation. Mitsi Pimentel is an outstanding provider-thorough, knowledgeable, compassionate, and she truly takes the time to listen.
