Bio
Adriana Goumas has cared for North Texans as a certified family nurse practitioner since 2023. She has an additional decade of experience serving as a registered nurse in the areas of urgent care, family medicine and women’s health. She is passionate about promoting whole body wellness and delivering quality preventative care in collaboration with a physician.
Adriana earned her bachelor’s degree in Colombia and stayed in the country to begin her nursing career. She later graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with her master’s degree in nursing. During her time at UT Arlington, she was honored with two Clinical Excellence Awards for consistently exceeding clinical performance expectations. Adriana is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She speaks fluent Spanish.

I ask some questions and she was quick to respond with an answer that satisfied me. She and our primary doctor, William Drake, always take time to listen to what you are saying and do their best to make me comfortable about what is or needs to take place. The staff is friendly and caring, as well. She took her time, ordered a chest x-ray to rule out pneumonia and also did a nebulizer treatment in the office because my wheezing was so bad.
