Alexander Vanderzant has been a certified physician assistant in North Texas since 2016, most recently serving the community of Highland Village. His areas of experience and focus include family medicine, diabetes management and thyroid disease. He spent several years helping to bridge the health care gap for underserved populations through his proficiency in Spanish.
Alexander graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from The University of Texas at Arlington. He earned his master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.

Mar 2026He will soon have a large caseload. I found him to be extremely intelligent, totally tuned in to the reason of both my encounters with him and he was prepared to address the issues and was able to communicate with me in a manner that I was able to understand. He suggested changes in my medication that could be successful and why he thought it would be in my best interests. I really liked him and enjoyed the professional/patient rapport we have established. I trust him, he respects me.
