Bio
Dr. Anthony Handoyo is a board-certified family medicine physician. In addition to his primary care focus, Dr. Handoyo prioritizes the musculoskeletal and metabolic health of his patients along with woman and newborn care. He has served as a team physician for the Allen Americans Hockey Team since 2023 and has cared for North Texans of all ages since 2020. He has a professional interest in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. His dream is for all of his patients to take care of their bodies through exercise, proper diet and an active lifestyle.
Dr. Handoyo earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He completed his family medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. Dr. Handoyo has served as an adjunct professor in Family Medicine at several teaching facilities in the DFW area since 2022. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and dogs. He also has a passion for the Martial Arts, weight lifting, reading, hiking, obstacle course racing, wood carving and playing board games.

Dr Handoyo has performed a miracle in my life by introducing OMT as an option for my chronic neck and back pain. I was scheduled to have back surgery but after a few treatments of OMT I was able to cancel the surgery. It is important to note I am not on any pain medication and experienced such relief I will continue to identify his treatment as a miracle in my life. Dr Handoyo is the real deal, he is both charismatic, and exhibits genuine concern for myself and my care. I am a clinical provider, and I know the focus can be solely on surveys and rankings and not taking time to recognize the physician in the trenches providing quality care whether they garner a perfect survey or very poor survey. My challenge to you decision makers is to step away from your desks and sit in the trenches with these hard working providers. Dr. Handoyo is an asset and deserves to be supported, recognized and compensated accordingly. Thank you for providing me this opportunity to spotlight a truly exceptional provider.
