Bio
Dr. Beraht Thapa grew up in the Midwest and began his career as a board-certified family physician in Springfield, Ohio. He spent five years providing primary care services to the Springfield community before relocating to North Texas early in 2026.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Thapa has served as an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University since 2023. He also previously served on the Primary Care Board of Directors at Bon Secours Mercy Health in Springfield, Ohio. His areas of focus include disease management of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, depression and other chronic conditions.
Dr. Thapa earned his medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, W.V. He completed his family medicine residency at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, N.Y. Dr. Thapa is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine, American Osteopathic Association, and Obesity Medicine Association. Outside of work, Dr. Thapa enjoys spending time with family, weightlifting, movies and spending time outside.
