Dan Chan Chu, MD Family Medicinein Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Dan Chu is a board-certified family physician with a passion for prevention-based medicine. During his time in residency training, Dr. Chu was involved in providing sports physicals and care coverage for the football program at Ball High School in the Galveston area. This work helped to solidify his interest in prioritizing wellness in his practice. In addition to being a skilled clinician, Dr. Chu enjoys the science behind the medicine. He has been an avid researcher in a variety of areas, including metabolic-driven conditions, skin cancers, hypertensive disorders and the link between certain diabetes medications and dementia.

Dr. Chu earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He remained in Galveston to complete his family medicine residency at UTMB. Dr. Chu is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
