Jessica Macwan, APRN, FNP-C Nurse Practitioner-Familyin Rockwall, TX

Jessica Macwan has been delivering patient-centered care as a registered nurse since 2016. Her focus has been to provide compassionate care by creating strong therapeutic relationships with her patients and educating patients on evidence-based practices. To further support her patients, Jessica became certified as a family nurse practitioner in 2023. Her goal is to empower patients to choose a healthy lifestyle, to collaborate with dietitians and other care providers, and to prevent or manage chronic medical conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. She believes that mental health is often an ignored yet important aspect of our overall health - as many mental health illnesses can cause preventable physical symptoms. By working on health holistically and understanding each patient's personal health goals, she hopes to help her patients find a healthy balance of physical and mental health.

Jessica earned her bachelor's degree in nursing while attending Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, Ill. She graduated with her master's degree in nursing from Bradley University, also in Peoria.
