Bio
Kelly Hunt began her nursing career in the Dallas area in 2012. She worked for four years in the area of cancer care before earning her certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2017. Kelly is now focused on providing comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages in collaboration with a physician. She also has a passion for community outreach. In her previous role, she conducted preventative care education programs for various departments within the City of Garland, including diabetes education and prevention, sun cancer prevention, seasonal allergy care and first aid in the workplace.
Kelly earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing, as well as her Doctor of Nursing Practice, while attending Baylor University in Dallas.

Jul 2025Kelly Hunt is excellent, not just very good. I am comfortable and important to her. She listens, she is smart and truly cares about my health.Jul 2025I never feel rushed. I am very grateful that I came to the decision of seeking a fresh perspective on my physic meds. My longtime NP did little to address my mounting concerns over my diminished emotional and mental health issues aside from taking what I felt was a proactive approach. My previous NP had to reschedule my appointment with her to address my mental health issues to go on vacation. It was then that I insisted on seeing another NP, who as it turns out, was not remaining at the Forney location. At my visit with [...] he began to make changes to my medications. I ask him for a new NP recommendation and he suggested Ms. Hunt. She is very knowledgeable and made several satisfactory recommendations.
