Bio

An early career in children's dentistry spurred Mariateresa Guillermo to dive deeper into healthcare. She became a registered nurse in 2016 and gained certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2021. She has worked in a primary care setting since 2022.

Mariateresa graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She later returned to UT Arlington to earn her master's degree in nursing. Mariateresa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

What I liked about Theresa was that she was compassionate. I wasn't a customer, I was a patient. She also did extra care to save time and you can tell she likes caring for people and their health. […] is good at that too. Besides them any other doctor I tend to not have that and it's terrible. So I am incredibly grateful for them and the nurses too. They seem to be meek and gentle and lets face it, we all need that as no one ever wants to go to the doctor.

I had a very positive experience with this doctor. They did an excellent job explaining all the information clearly and in detail, which really helped me understand my condition and options.
