Bio
An early career in children’s dentistry spurred Mariateresa Guillermo to dive deeper into healthcare. She became a registered nurse in 2016 and gained certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2021. She has worked in a primary care setting since 2022.
Mariateresa graduated Magna Cum Laude with her bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She later returned to UT Arlington to earn her master’s degree in nursing. Mariateresa is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
