Nicole Alessandra Unkart, DO Family Medicinein Cleburne, TX

Dr. Nicole Unkart was inspired to pursue a career in medicine at a young age by a female family physician who cared for her and her family throughout their life stages. She chose family medicine out of a passion for helping patients feel comfortable seeing a doctor on a regular basis to promote health and longevity. She believes in the practice of integrative medicine, which uses a combination of therapies and lifestyle changes to prevent illness and disease and to treat and heal the whole person.

Dr. Unkart earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center-Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. She completed her family medicine residency at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Unkart is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Medical Association and Texas Academy of Family Physicians. When not with her patients, she enjoys participating in outdoor activities with her husband and daughter. They like to camp and hike close to home as well as in the national parks.
