Bio
Certified family nurse practitioner Rose Julian found inspiration for a career in nursing by watching the 1970s TV show M-A-S-H. Working early on in the ICU environment, she was also able to observe the practices of nurse practitioners and knew she wanted to move forward with a similar career path. Rose has been a registered nurse since 1984 and a nurse practitioner since 2009. Additionally, she currently serves as an associate professor for The University of Texas at Arlington’s MSN/FNP online program.
Rose earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing while attending The University of Texas at Arlington. She initially completed her post-master’s certification coursework in adult nurse practitioner studies at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas. She then went on to complete her family nurse practitioner coursework. Rose strives to learn from the health obstacles and struggles of the families she cares for so that she may optimize support and guidance throughout each health journey. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Texas Nurse Practitioner organizations.
