Bio
Sara Vergis spent many years in inpatient nursing before deciding to take her career in a slightly different direction. She went back to the classroom to earn her certification as a family nurse practitioner in 2019 so she could prioritize building lasting relationships with her patients across their lifespan. Sara’s focus has been in family medicine and urgent care ever since with special interests in preventative medicine, wound management, and education related to skin care and aging.
Sara earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing while attending Northwestern State University in Shreveport and Natchitoches, La., respectively. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
