Thomas Edward Barker, MD Internal Medicinein Fort Worth, TX

Dr. Thomas Barker has spent over two decades developing wellness strategies, diagnosing disease and delivering compassionate care to North Texans. He became a board-certified internal medicine physician in 1999 and has worked in an outpatient primary care environment since that time. In addition to his clinical practice, now located in Southwest Fort Worth, Dr. Barker continues to serve as chair of the Department of Medicine for USMD Hospital in the Arlington community.

Dr. Barker earned his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo. He completed his internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. He went on to complete a clinical research fellowship in the Department of Mineral Metabolism at UT Southwestern.
