Bio
Zekeya Lofton brings more than two decades of nursing experience to the care of patients. She began her nursing career in a rural family medical center in Tennessee. She became board-certified as a family nurse practitioner in 1999 and later gained additional experience in endocrinology and diabetes care.
Zekeya graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tenn., with her bachelor’s degree in nursing. She completed her master’s degree in nursing while attending the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Zekeya worked in the Tyler and Athens, Texas communities before landing in North Texas in 2023.
