Bio
Kelsi Smith's interest in nursing began at an early age but it peaked when she had the opportunity to volunteer at a local hospital as a high school student. She went on to have a rewarding career as a trauma/ER registered nurse before transitioning into the area of gastroenterology in 2017. Kelsi became interested in family medicine during her clinical rotation and certified as a family nurse practitioner in 2025. She is passionate about working collaboratively with physicians to form long-term relationships with patients through preventative care and healthy-lifestyle education.
Kelsi graduated Cum Laude with her bachelor's degree in nursing from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock. She earned her master's degree in nursing from Texas Woman's University in Denton. Kelsie is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, getting outside, exercising and being a foodie.

The entire staff was wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and incredibly efficient. The appointment ran smoothly, and I was in and out in no time without ever feeling rushed. Every team member I interacted with was friendly and professional, making the entire experience stress-free. It was such a positive visit, and I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent care.

I had my first appointment with Kelsi [...], and I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment she walked in, she was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. She took her time with me, never once making me feel rushed, and thoroughly explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. One thing that really stood out was that she performed a comprehensive physical exam, which is becoming harder to find these days. She listened carefully to all of my concerns, answered every question without hesitation, and made sure all of my needs were addressed before the appointment ended. Kelsi is knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely cares about her patients. I left feeling heard, reassured, and confident in my care. I am so grateful to have her as one of my providers and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional primary care provider.
