After surviving a life-threatening disease in her teens, Alexandra Akra knew she wanted to pursue a career in which she could provide compassionate care similar to what she had received during her illness. She has been serving the primary care needs of North Texans as a certified physician assistant since 2013 and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. When not caring for patients, Alexandra enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
