Leticia Pilar began her career in 2014 as an emergency medical technician. She later found her calling as a certified physician assistant. Leticia's areas of special interest and focus include family medicine and pediatrics, women's care and behavioral health.
Leticia earned her bachelor of arts in biology from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She received her master of physician assistant studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Midland, Texas. Leticia is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She speaks fluent Spanish to serve the diverse language needs of the Denton community.

From the moment I walk In to when I leave, everyone I Interact with is always professional and friendly. I had blood drawn on this visit and the ladies in the lab are wonderful. From the perfect and painless needle prick to conversation.

Leticia listens and remembers. The last visit I had with her, I broke down due to personal situations. When I saw her on this visit, I could see the genuine concern and empathy in her eyes and voice. I travel to Coppell from [...] because of Leticia.

I travel 45-60 minutes to get to the medical clinic and have been making that trip for over 25 years. I keep saying I need to find a family physician that's closer to me, but I've been happy with the service I get at Coppel Family Practice. I particularly appreciate that Leticia Pilar truly listens to my concerns and tries to help me. She's probably the main reason I keep making the drive.
