Bio

Dr. Tyler Ingersoll was motivated to pursue a career in medicine as a teen after his mother experienced a health event. He also has an uncle who is a family medicine physician that further inspired him. Dr. Ingersoll became a board-certified family physician with advanced training in sports medicine. As a former athlete, he understands the need for recovery and improved well-being following injury. He is committed to combining medicine and athletics in a way that helps patients prevent illness and recover from injury.

Dr. Ingersoll graduated with his medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss. He did his family medicine residency at the Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa before completing his sports medicine fellowship at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Dr. Ingersoll has provided physician coverage for a variety of sports programs, including Texas Tech Athletics and the Tulsa Drillers Indoor Arena Football team. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine and American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians.

I love this provider's office! The physician is young and vibrant. He's personable and inclusive. He takes the time to discuss all matters of patient concern and he doesn't act like a lackey to the insurance industry. I absolutely adore him and his staff.

I had the most incredible nurse that was taken care of me and explained everything that was going on through my illness visit. Dr. Ingersoll came in very quickly as well and got me fully taken care of and out the door within roughly 15 minutes.

I moved to [...] almost 8 years ago. Since moving, I had seen multiple providers trying to figure out who would be the best fit for me. Dr. Ingersoll is by far the most phenomenal doctor that I've had within by 33 years of life. He is so incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and caring making sure that I get the The most comfort when I am sick, and all of my healthcare needs are met. All of his nursing staff and front desk worker are also just as incredible as him. Every time I walk in, I get greeted with a big friendly smile and a hello, how are you?! It makes my visits absolutely amazing every single time

I am having a health issue that requires immediate care and scheduling outside the office. The coordination of care and explanation of these medical issues has been thoroughly carried out by Dr. Ingersoll and the entire staff. In such an intense situation and as his patient, I have felt very confident every step of the way. The coordination of care has been stellar. I am very grateful.
