Bio
Dr. Timothy Niacaris is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with additional board certification and fellowship training in hand surgery. His areas of special focus include microvascular surgery, minimally invasive surgery for hand and upper extremity injuries, and the treatment of common and rare bone disorders in the hand and elbow. He is a global educator for the endoscopic carpal tunnel release technique, a minimally invasive approach to the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.
When not caring for patients in the office, Dr. Niacaris serves as medical director of Hand Surgical Services for Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. He also teaches Biomedical Informatics at the Texas Christian University/University of North Texas Health Science Center Medical School. Dr. Niacaris currently serves as the orthopedic physician for Texas Motor Speedway, providing coverage during NASCAR races.
