Sarah Stevens' extensive nursing career is filled with leadership, teaching and direct patient care roles. She began working as a staff registered nurse in an intensive care/stepdown unit in 2009. Sarah earned her family nurse practitioner certification in 2018 and her adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner board certification in 2021. Her additional experience includes surgical intensive care and critical care medicine.

Sarah graduated from St. Francis Medical Center College of Nursing in Peoria, Ill. with her bachelor's degree in nursing. She earned her master's degree in nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice - Family Nurse Practitioner while attending Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fla. She went on to complete her post-graduate certification in adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio. Sarah is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Fort Worth Region Nurse Practitioners.
