Dec 2025I had considered staying with the cardiologist who attended to me during my visit to the THR Hospital, but he needed another 30 days for a reservation, per his appointment staff. Both were excellent. So, I chose to stay with the referral cardiologist because I could view all the visits, tests, and other information in near real-time on the MyChart database. This gives me time to look up the technology words and be prepared for discussions with the doctors and staff.Dec 2025My only issue was that this was a first visit on a referral from my primary care doctor, based on an annual check-up ECG that caused him to ask me if I had had a heart attack, and set up the initial cardiologist visit. Before I could make the initial visit, I had to go to the emergency room for congestive heart failure. I was impressed with the cardiologist and was glad he participated in THR, as I use the MyChart resource. The cardiologist preemptively let me know he has issued new instructions to staff to get new patients in my situation in sooner.Dec 2025They are excellent. They work at an efficient pace and are extremely friendly. I enjoy seeing them when I come for my visit.Dec 2025This physician shows genuine concerns for me. He also remembers my last issue from a visit several months ago. His observations are on point. He's also kind and patient and has me feeling confident I'm getting the best care which puts my mind at ease, as well as my family's mind. The front desk helped and explained what she was doing and what to expect. The nurse was funny, which helped ease the nerves. Explained what she was doing and why. The Dr. Went over my past records with me asking me if I had aby questions or concerns and explained in detail of the upcoming procedures and why they needed to be done. The young lady that I sat down with at the end to schedule the procedure was extremely funny, sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. This was a most pleasant visit. Alan G. Working within the Texas Health system is very effective. There was a small glitch in the scheduling process. I did not recall I had an established relationship with Dr. Parikh, so I accidently scheduled with a different doctor in the practice. A new appointment was required, which resulted in a delay of several weeks.
