He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University. Receiving his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. There he was president of his class. In addition, he then went on to train at Stanford University, and completed his cardiovascular fellowship at the University of Colorado.
Given these points, Dr. Spitzberg is a fellow of the Council of Clinical Cardiology of the American Heart Association. Furthermore, he is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Cardiology.

Probably the best physician I have ever visited. Super knowledgeable, patient, spent at least 4 minutes wiht me, friendly. UPpon leaving I felt so much better about my problem.
