Bio
A North Texas native, Dr. Tulika Jain obtained her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and fellowship-trained in cardiology and advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Jain received honors in all her medicine sub-internships, completing her internal medicine internship and residency at UT Southwestern, as well as a cardiology fellowship. After completing her fellowship training at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, she spent two years researching methods for non-invasive coronary imaging as a tool for prevention of cardiac events.
Dr. Jain specializes in cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and transesophageal echocardiography. She has published literature on the relationship between atherosclerosis and obesity, and comparisons of the burden of coronary atherosclerosis by ethnicity and gender. Her special areas of interest are preventative cardiology, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, stroke prevention, and women’s heart disease.
