Stella Lisk began her career in 1996 caring for patients in assisted living and on the medical-surgical floor of a regional medical center before focusing her clinical career in cardiovascular services. She is board-certified as an advanced registered nurse practitioner.
Stella earned her undergraduate nursing degree and master’s degree in nursing from The University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. She went on to receive her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington in Arlington, Texas. Stella’s areas of clinical focus include disease prevention, heart failure disease management and preventive cardiology. As a cardiovascular advanced practice nurse, she is skilled in cardiovascular disease program development, electrophysiology procedures and device management, and other nursing support.
Stella is a member of the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, Heart Failure Society of America, American College of Cardiology, Preventive Cardiology Nurses Association, Heart Rhythm Society and the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing.
Stella provides accessible and comprehensive care to her patients, helping them to navigate their cardiovascular health and achieve an overall improvement in their quality of life. When not caring for patients, Stella enjoys reading and traveling.
