Bio
Patients experiencing heart and vascular conditions have had a compassionate and quality care partner in Ellen Lee since 2021. She began her career in critical care as a staff nurse at Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, where she cared for patients in pulmonary stepdown and medical ICU settings with complex heart and lung conditions.
In this role, she cared for patients with heart failure, coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, pulmonary hypertension, and acute and chronic respiratory disease. Working closely with physicians, she helped support timely interventions and individualized, evidence-based care.
Ellen is passionate about patient education and long-term health outcomes. She values helping patients better understand their condition, recognize symptoms early, follow treatment plans, and make practical lifestyle changes that support long-term health and quality of life.
She became board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2025 to expand her clinical knowledge and ability to care for patients with complex medical conditions. Ellen earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing while studying at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing in New York, where she graduated as valedictorian. She set down roots in North Texas and is proud to serve the community.
