Bio
Julie John brings more than two decades of nursing experience to the care of heart patients. She began her career in 1998 working as a registered nurse in a cardiac care and research hospital. Through the years, she has managed post-cardiac and lung surgery patients after transplants, stroke, arrhythmia, catheterization, valve replacement and other procedures. Julie is board-certified as an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. She also holds NIHSS certification in the care of stroke patients.
Julie earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from York University in Toronto, Ontario. She graduated with her master's degree in nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington.
